Bi-Quarterly Journal of Educational and Scholastic Studies in order to present the latest theories and scientific findings in the fields of humanities, education, training, upbringing, strategy, management and also for the exchange and dissemination of innovative ideas and thoughts started its work from the summer of 2012 with the first issue publication.

 

Publisher and Frequency of Publication

The Journal of Educational Studies is a scientific journal belonging to Farhangian University, which started publishing as a quarterly in 2012, but according to the decision of the editorial board of the journal, it was decided to publish it as a bi-quarterly from 2015.

 

Scope of Articles and Types of Acceptable Articles in the Journal

The journal publishes articles in three formats: complete original scientific articles, short scientific articles, as well as review articles in the following areas:

• Content analysis of teacher training textbooks

• Training and preparation of human resources in the campuses and higher education centers of Farhangian University

• Comparative study of teacher training systems

• Professional characteristics of teachers

• Improvement and excellence of human resources in education

• Evaluating the performance of the staff of the campuses and higher education centers of Farhangian University

• Accreditation of campuses and higher education centers of Farhangian University

• Strategic studies in educational organizations and teacher training centers

• Management and planning of the classroom and school

• Presenting new methods of teaching, education and evaluation of programs, and students' learning ways

• The role of teacher training in empowering teacher-students to new educational technologies

• Development and presentation of methods for effective use of new educational technologies

• Ways to improve the quality of education in the teacher training system

 • New theories and approaches in the design of teacher training textbooks

• Globalization and its effects on teacher education

• Futurology in teacher training

• Application of research findings in educational and school fields

The journal publishes related topics, which have not been previously published in any journal or book.

 

Publication Language:

The main language of publishing articles is Persian. The abstract of the articles is in both Persian and English.

 

Cost of Sending and Reviewing the Article:

Submitting an article to the journal and conducting the reviewing process in this journal is completely free. Since the main policy of this journal is to promote and disseminate knowledge among all researchers in the world, so access to the full text of all published articles and archives of this journal is completely free.

Peer Review Process

Acceptance of articles in this journal can be done after reviewing process by at least 3 reviewers and approval by at least 2 reviewers. Publishing accepted articles in the journal is also completely free.

 

Ethical Principles of the Journal

Honesty and truthfulness in conducting scientific research is the concern of the editor and members of the editorial board of the journal, so that they strive to prevent fraud and copying of scientific articles. Accordingly, they use the Committee on Publication Ethics(COPE) instructions of dealing with scientific violations in publication of scientific contents.

Also, the use of articles published in the journal is unrestricted by preserving the rights of the journal and the authors and in case of citation to them.
