Abstract

The present study was conducted with the aim of identifying the determinants of teachers' emotional exhaustion in the empirical evidence from 2020 to 2023. The type of study was applied and qualitative and meta-composite method was used. The scope of research articles was between 2020 and 2023. By using a targeted approach and until reaching saturation and using the integration approach and the Sandelowski and Barroso (2007) model, 140 articles were selected and after the evaluation criteria, 44 final articles were selected. Qualitative data were analyzed and implemented in the form of categories, concepts and codes. The results showed that psychological determinants (cognitive, emotional, behavioral and personality dimensions), occupational determinants (dimensions related to work, work environment, student and cognitive), family determinants (wife, family, family duties), educational context determinants (school, student, colleagues, course) social determinants (dimensions of society, dependent on others) protective determinants (social, psychological, occupational and personality caregivers) determinants of teachers' emotional exhaustion were in the empirical evidence. In line with the findings of the research, it can be concluded that a set of psychological, occupational, family, educational, social and protective factors have been identified as determinants of teachers' emotional exhaustion in experimental evidence.
