The Relationship Between Managers' Strategic Intelligence and Job Performance and Organizational Success of Employees from the Viewpoint of Staff and Faculty Members of Farhangian University

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between managers' strategic intelligence with job performance and organizational success of employees from the perspective of staff and faculty members of Farhangian University. The research method is descriptive-correlation. The statistical population of the study included all staff and faculty members of Farhangian University and the campuses and centers of Tehran province in the number of 800 people. A sample of 260 people was randomly selected. To measure the research variables, three standard questionnaires of strategic intelligence Bakhit et al. (2015), Patterson job performance (2003) and organizational success Nekouei Moghadam (2009) were used. Pearson correlation test and path analysis were performed to analyze the data. The results showed that there is a positive and significant relationship between managers 'strategic intelligence and job performance of Farhangian University staff (r = 0.88), there is a positive and significant relationship between managers' strategic intelligence and organizational success of Farhangian University staff (r = 0.75). There is a positive and significant relationship between the five components of foresight, vision formulation, systems thinking, motivation and partnership with job performance and organizational success of Farhangian University staff. Therefore, managers and policy makers of Farhangian University can pay special attention to the dimensions of strategic intelligence at the organizational level, provide the basis for improving the performance and career success of employees and by paying attention to employees and aligning them with organizational goals and culture, organizations can achieve Help their goals.
