Analyzing The Conformity of The New Curriculum of The Bachelor's Course in Mathematical Education of Farhangian University with The Fundamental Evolution Document

Abstract

Background and Objectives: The purpose of the present study is to investigate the degree of conformity of the new curriculum of the undergraduate mathematics education in Farhangian University with the concept map of the Hayat-e-Tayebeh.
Methods: This research is descriptive-analytical with quantitative and qualitative content analysis method. Statistical society, the new title of the undergraduate course in mathematics education at Farhangian University, separating its four sections. The content analysis was compiled based on the conceptual map of Hayat Taybeh based on the fundamentals of the document of fundamental transformation to the separation of six fields.
Findings: Based on the quantitative content analysis, a total of 2601 codes were identified, which showed that the Aesthetic and Artistic field, in the Introduction section, with a frequency of 3, and the Belief, Moral and Devotional field, in the Educational section, with a frequency of 429, had the lowest and highest frequency, respectively.
Conclusion: Based on the findings, modification and revision of the new curriculum of the undergraduate mathematics education in Farhangian University is necessary, in order to balance the content of the heading with the corresponding missions in the country's high-level documents.
