Pathology of the performance evaluation system of education teachers with the foundational data theory method

Abstract

The purpose of this study was the pathology of the performance evaluation system of education teachers, to achieve this goal, the qualitative approach and Grounded theory have been used.The statistical population of the research is staff, managers and teachers of schools in South Khorasan province.The sampling method was targeted and up to the saturation level(16 people). In order to collect data, in-depth and exploratory interviews were used. Data were analyzed at the same time as information was collected using the Strauss and Corbin method. In order to validate the research findings of long-term conflict or drowning, confirmation by the subjects and questioning and searching of colleagues were used, as well as to ensure the reliability of the coding methods by the second coder and decoding by the researcher.As a result of data analysis, 326 codebases including 207 separate codebases were extracted.These codes are in the form of 37 categories, the six dimensions of the pathological model of the teacher performance evaluation system centered on the phenomenon of systematic inefficiency of the teacher performance evaluation system, including causal factors(9 categories), intervening factors(7 categories), background factors(7 categories). , the main phenomenon(one category), actions and interactions (5 categories) and consequences(8 categories) were formed.
