Abstract

The purpose of this study was to construct and validate an innovative work behavior questionnaire of physical education teachers. At First, a preliminary questionnaire containing 33 questions was prepared by examining the background of innovative work behavior then that was given to 9 Experts. For the evaluation of validity, internal consistency and repeatability of the questionnaire the content validity ratio (CVR), content validity index (CVI), Cronbach α coefficient and confirmatory factor analysis were Used. Exploratory factor analysis and confirmatory factor analysis of the questionnaire were performed using AMOS26 software and SPSS23 software. The content validity index of the final questionnaire was calculated to be (S-CVI/Ave=0.88). Then Principal Component Analysis (PCA) was run to explore the factor loadings Exploratory factor analysis identified 21 items in three-factor (ideation, promotion and improvement of idea, implementation and execution of idea) based on Johnson's model (2000) and Hellman et al's model (2012) that this model confirmed 61.73% of the total variance. The confirmatory factor analysis showed that the fit indices are in the acceptable range and the RMSEA index was less than 0.05. Also, the findings demonstrate high internal consistency (Cronbach’s alpha=0.938), and significant positive correlations were found between all three dimensions of the questionnaire
