The approach of this research is a qualitative type of theme analysis. The participants of this research were 18 teachers and school principals in a targeted manner. In order to collect data, semi-structured interviews were used, and in order to analyze data, theme analysis method and Max Kyuda software were used. To check the validity of the information and pattern extracted from the interviews, two methods of retesting and intra-subject agreement were used and the validity of the findings was ensured. The results led to the identification of 3 main categories including: (school principal's professional skills and capabilities, school principal's individual skills and capabilities, foundational factors in improving effectiveness) and 19 subcategories. Since management is considered as an important factor of progress and improvement and they play the first role in this field, therefore, the use of effective categories can make management effective and easier in schools.
